Arrival

Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 PM.

If you need to drop your bags early or store your bags after checkout, you can use the left luggage app stasher to find a suitable place to store your luggage.

Arrival by public transport

Depending on your direction of travel you can get the tram to Castlefield or train to Deansgate and it’s just a short walk from there. When you arrive at the station click on the link below.

Arrival by Car - Parking Location Map

There is parking directly across the road from the property under the arches. It’s controlled by SIP. You can find information on current fees and purchasing options by clicking here. There’s also another option at Euro Car Parks at the end of Bridgewater Street/Deansgate. You can book here

How to find the Communal Entrance

Please see image below for communal entrance to apartment.

How to Open the Front Door (Communal Entrance)

You simply insert the key properly on the key slot and push the door open.

How to Close the Front Door (Communal Entrance)

You will need to catch the lock in the door first with the key and pull the door to close it as there it does not close automatically.

Lockbox Location

The apartment is on the top floor of the building. The lockbox is located to the left of the apartment door as in the video below. Again, we change the code periodically for security reasons so we will send you the latest code to your inbox before arrival.

How to Open the Lockbox

To operate the lockbox, first pull down the black cover to show the number. Then put in the code that we send to your inbox.

  • Please do not leave any rubbish or belongings in shared spaces.

  • Please always lock all doors,turn the heating down/off when you leave, and be courteous to the neighbours 
  • Absolutely NO unregistered guests without prior approval.
  • Absolutely NO illegal drugs of any kind – alcohol is OK.

Heating and Hot Water

How to Turn On the Wall Heaters

You can control the room temperature by using the wall mounted heaters in each room. See the video below for how to turn on.

How to Turn On Living Room Heater

The operation for the living room heater is slightly different as you can see in the video below.

Hot Water

The hot water is set to come on automatically when you turn on the taps/shower so you don’t need to worry about any specific settings.

Lounge Area

TV

The TV has both terrestrial channels as well as LG channels.

It’s a smart TV so you can cast your own devices to it. Just make sure that your device is on the same network as the TV.

Kitchen

Hob

To find the switch of each hob, you have to look for the corresponding ring using the icon beside the switch. Make sure to turn on the hob before turning switches.

Extractor Fan (Kitchen)

The extractor fan is fairly easy to operate as in the video below.

Microwave

First, select the temperature and then the duration according to the food you want to cook. Stay nearby during the cooking process to monitor the food and ensure it is cooking as desired.

Oven

The oven is simple enough to operate as in the video below.

Washing Machine

To operate the washing machine:

 

First, turn the washing machine ON.
Grab a laundry capsule.
Put it inside along with the clothes.
Select a Cycle.
Press START.

Others

Extractor Fan (Bathroom)

The switch for the extractor fan is located just outside the bathroom as in the video below.

Towel Rail

The switch for the towel rail is in the second bedroom as in the video below.

Trash & Recycling

The trash and recycling are located next to the communal entrance door as in the picture below. You can access the area by using the code: C0608Z

Troubleshooting

If electricity turns off

Although rare, on occasions it may be necessary to use the fusebox in case something trips the electrics. On these occasions, it can be found in the utility cupboard on as in the video below. Then make sure all the switches are in the same position. If you are unsure, you can always contact us for clarification.

The fusebox is located in the utility cupboard as in the video below.

If the Internet is Not Working

Make sure to setup the connections on the Wi-Fi router by ensuring:

  • The phone cable is plugged in into the router/modem.
  • The outlet is switched on at the wall.
  • The Wi-Fi router is turned on.
  • If it’s still not working, turn off the router for 30 seconds and then turn back on again.

If Hot Water / heating is Not Working

If hot water is not working – make sure that these three switches are in this position. If they are in this position, then you may need to press the ‘boost’ function as in the video below.

Departure

Check-out time is strictly before 10:00AM

Please note that we cannot extend checkout beyond 10:00AM as we have a very tight turnaround before the next guest arrives.

We cannot delay the cleaners from their other jobs. If you think you need longer please book and pay for an extra nights’ accommodation before staying at the property.

  • Any checkout after 10:00AM will be subject to an extra cleaning charge
  • Please clean up any dirty dishes and put them away
  • Put any last minute dishes in the dishwasher and turn on
  • Make sure you turn off the stove, oven, heaters and lights
  • Replace any furniture that was rearranged
  • Take out the trash / recycling
  • Make sure you lock the doors
  • Leave the key(s) in the lockbox. The code will be the same as when you entered.
  • After checkout, you can use the left luggage app stasher to find a suitable place to store your luggage.
