Arrival

Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 PM.

If you need to drop your bags early or store your bags after checkout, you can use the left luggage app stasher to find a suitable place to store your luggage.

Arrival by public transport

The best way to arrive by public transport is to take the tube to ‘Vauxhall’ tube station. The apartment is a short walk from there. When you arrive at the station it’s best to use ‘Exit 4’ to leave the station.

If you arrive by car, there is paid parking (managed separately to the building management) underneath the building.

This does not need to be reserved as the public can use it. Note you will need the entry fob to get directly into building.

How to access car park without key fob

If you need to access the carpark without your fob [for example after returning your keys] you can use the code on your parking ticket [marked by red square]. The entrance to the car parking is next to the apartment block door entrance.

Key Location

The keys are stored at a ‘keynest’ location. This is a local shop and the address is: Payless Food and Wine, 322 Kennington Lane, London, SE11 5HY. You will receive the code in your welcome messages.

If you are arriving by car, you can park just near the shop for 30 minutes which will allow you plenty of time to collect the keys. You can see the location of the shop parking below:

How to Find Apartment Entrance

The apartment is located between Tesco on Wandsworth Road and Exit 4 of Vauxhall tube station. You can follow directions in the video below.

Press on ‘directions’ or ‘view larger map’ below to bring up the apartment entrance in Google Maps.

How to Enter the Main Building

HOME SAFETY

Location of fire alarms: hallway, bedrooms, living room, kitchen. 

  • Please always lock all doors,turn the heating down/off when you leave, and be courteous to the neighbours 
  • Absolutely NO unregistered guests without prior approval.
  • Absolutely NO illegal drugs of any kind – alcohol is OK.

How to Adjust the Room Temperature

There are wall mounted heaters in each of the rooms, see below for how to operate.

Hot Water

The hot water is set to come on automatically when you turn on the taps/shower so you don’t need to worry about any specific settings.

To operate the TV you will need to access via the Sky Box.

To select the Sky Box input, press AV then HDMI 1.

You can select Netflix directly from the TV remote or cast your own streaming services to TV by selecting [40EX700_SERIES] on your mobile.

Sofabed

The apartment is equipped with a sofabed. Follow the instructions below to operate.

Step 1

Remove the seat cushion to show the bed mechanism underneath.

Step 2

Pull the sofabed mechanism in the direction illustrated below.

Step 4

Compete setup by expanding the bed until it looks like below.

Kitchen

Hob

The hob is fairly easy to operate as in the video below.

Dishwasher

The dishwasher is fairly easy to operate as in the video below.

Extractor Fan

The extractor fan is fairly easy to operate as in the video below.

Microwave

The microwave is fairly easy to operate as in the video below.

Oven (Small)

It’s recommended to use the small oven for most cooking tasks.

Oven (Large)

You will find that you can use the small oven for most cooking tasks but if you need to use the large oven you can do so by following the video below.

Washing Machine

If you want to do a regular wash and you can follow the video below.

Others

Shower

Turning on the shower is fairly easy to operate as in the video below.

Turning on the towel rail is fairly easy to operate as in the video below.

Blinds

The blinds are operated from the bottom – up. You can see how they operate in the video below.

Trash & Recycling

Rubbish chute in a room called ‘refuse’ just where the lifts are located.

Recycling is on level LG (lower ground) just outside the exit to the right (two big bins – note there is no segregation between the recycling types so you can put all types of recycling in there and they will be sorted later.

Troubleshooting

If electricity turns off

Although rare, on occasions it may be necessary to use the fusebox in case something trips the electrics. On these occasions, it can be found in the utility cupboard on as in the video below. Then make sure all the switches are in the same position. If you are unsure, you can always contact us for clarification.

The fusebox is located on the wall next to the front door.

If the Internet is Not Working

Make sure to setup the connections on the Wi-Fi router by ensuring:

  • The phone cable is plugged in into the router/modem.
  • The outlet is switched on at the wall.
  • The Wi-Fi router is turned on.
  • If it’s still not working, turn off the router for 30 seconds and then turn back on again.

If Hot Water / heating is Not Working

If for any reason there is no hot water you can press the ‘boost’ button as in the video below. This can be found in the utility cupboard.

If the Blinds are Not Working

If the blinds don’t pull up correctly, it’s likely that the string is caught in the wheel, you can adjust this by following the video below.

Departure

Check-out time is strictly before 10:00AM

Please note that we cannot extend checkout beyond 10:00AM as we have a very tight turnaround before the next guest arrives.

We cannot delay the cleaners from their other jobs. If you think you need longer please book and pay for an extra nights’ accommodation before staying at the property.

  • Any checkout after 10:00AM will be subject to an extra cleaning charge
  • Please clean up any dirty dishes and put them away
  • Put any last minute dishes in the dishwasher and turn on
  • Make sure you turn off the stove, oven, heaters and lights
  • Replace any furniture that was rearranged
  • Take out the trash / recycling
  • Make sure you lock the doors
  • Please return the key(s) to the shop. The code will be the same as when you entered.
  • After checkout, you can use the left luggage app stasher to find a suitable place to store your luggage.
