Vents:
The apartment has an electric ventilation system (not specifically for ventilation) with round white vents on the ceiling in the kitchen, living areas and bathroom. The vents can be opened and closed by turning the central disc.

The switch to control the speed of the system (boost/trickle) is found on the wall next to the intercom handset. The main fused switch is on the upper left wall in the cylinder cupboard. The system can be used to vent steam from the bathroom and cooking fumes/steam from the kitchen. It remains switched off unless needed.

Within the cylinder cupboard in the kitchen you can find the Iron, Ironing board, clothes horse, dust pan and brush, and a mop and bucket. Cleaning liquids and materials can be found in the cupboard under the sink.

There are two eco radiators within the apartment that warm the apartment up through the day. They are set on specific times of the day, however should you need more heat, press the button labelled ‘m/ok’ to cycle through the programs.

Master bedroom:
The main window uses and electric switch on the wall opposite to open and close. There is some storage space within the wardrobe and draws within the bedroom.

Second Bedroom:
The window has a tilt and turn operation that opens inwards. Use the key to unlock and and change the way the window opens.

Balcony:
The door onto the balcony needs a firm, short slam to ensure that it latches as tightly as possible, there is only the one key that is in the door.

Front door:
To lock the front door from the inside, pull the handle up.

Artwork:
There are various pieces of artwork within the apartment, please be careful around these as they have traveled many miles and many of them are valuable to me.

However there is a boost button on the panel on the lower left wall in the cylinder cupboard which will help.

Troubleshooting

If electricity turns off

Although rare, on occasions it may be necessary to use the fusebox in case something trips the electrics. On these occasions, we need to make sure that all the switches are in the same ‘up’ position. If you are unsure, you can always contact us for clarification.

The fuse box can be found in the sliding door wardrobe in the Master bedroom should and of the fuses go off.

If the Internet is Not Working

Make sure to setup the connections on the Wi-Fi router by ensuring:

  • The phone cable is plugged in into the router/modem.
  • The outlet is switched on at the wall.
  • The Wi-Fi router is turned on.
  • If it’s still not working, turn off the router for 30 seconds and then turn back on again.
